How will your strategy behave at its limits?

Build an inspectable route from written trading rules to testing, broker connection and day-to-day monitoring.

What we configure and hand over

We translate your written strategy into configurable entry, exit and position-sizing rules, then run backtests against an agreed historical data period. A typical setup takes two to four weeks, depending on broker access and the clarity of the starting rules. The handover includes configuration notes, test reports, a control checklist and a walkthrough of the monitoring dashboard. Where supported, we connect the software through the broker's documented interface; you keep control of account credentials and trading decisions.

Five parts of one connected service

Strategy rules

We document when a signal may open or close a position and identify any ambiguous instructions before configuration begins. You confirm the trading logic. This stage is about making your existing method explicit; we do not devise a strategy or judge which market you should trade.

Testing and controls

We run historical tests with stated assumptions and configure position limits, stop conditions and alerts. Reports show the selected period and settings so you can interpret them in context. Historical tests are not forecasts, and a configured limit may not execute as expected during an outage or unusual market conditions.

Connection and monitoring

We check whether your chosen broker offers a suitable connection, configure the supported integration and explain the dashboard's order and alert views. You receive operating notes for routine checks. Broker availability, permissions and service interruptions sit outside our control, and your oversight remains necessary.

A typical setup, without the sales story

Consider a client with a written rule for trading one instrument and a broker account they manage themselves. In the first week, we clarify the entry conditions and maximum exposure. Next, we configure the rule, run a historical test and review unexpected signals together. After checking broker compatibility, we arrange a supervised connection and provide a monitoring walkthrough. The deliverable is documented, working tooling under the agreed conditions, not a prediction of how the strategy will perform.

Terms used during configuration

Backtest

A replay of strategy rules against historical data, using stated assumptions about costs and execution.

Position limit

A configured ceiling on the size of an individual trade or a group of open positions.

Stop condition

A rule intended to pause new orders when a defined threshold or operational event occurs.

Broker interface

A documented method through which software may receive account information and submit orders, subject to broker permissions.

Slippage

The difference between an expected execution price and the price actually obtained in the market.

What remains outside the service

Investment decisions

You select the strategy, instruments and broker. We configure the agreed tooling rather than providing individual investment recommendations or making trades on your behalf.

Market behaviour

Controls can define responses to specified events, but they cannot account for every price gap, liquidity change, broker interruption or data failure.

Account custody

Your funds remain with your chosen provider. We do not receive deposits, hold trading funds or need your account password to discuss a project.

Describe the rules you want to test

Send a short outline of your strategy and broker so we can discuss technical fit.
